With the expanded and refurbished nanofab and microfab Cleanrooms reopening in January 2023, ANFF-Qld Node UQ Hub provide an updated training module for new Facility Users and existing Users that are renewing Cleanroom access. All Users need to attend Cleanrooms access training for building access to the Level 2 East Wing ANFF-Qld Cleanrooms.
Please register to attend the training session to access the L2E ANFF-Qld Cleanrooms in 2024.
To attend training you need to do or have the following pre-requisites.
- Be an active Facility User in the ANFF-Qld Booking system.
- Have active AIBN Building access to Level 2 East Wing offices and PC2 Laboratory.
- Review the 2 mandatory risk assessments in UQ Health and Safety Management system UQsafe for Cleanroom access. These are : 17970 ANFF-Q Hydrofluoric acid (HF) Vapour Etcher, and 16377 UQ - AIBN - ANFF-Qld micro and nano fabrication cleanroom facilities (ISO 6 & ISO 7).
Attendees will be required to attend a 40min presentation and complete an information quiz on the day.
A safety walkthrough of the Cleanrooms is also required for building access. This walkthrough can be organised at a later date in an initial equipment training session for new users , or through specific appointment with an ANFF-Qld Cleanroom staff member for Users renewing their access.
AIBN Building access to the L2E ANFF-Qld Cleanrooms requires : attendance at this training and a pass result quiz; the mandatory ANFF-Qld Cleanrooms risk assessments reviewed in UQ safe ; and, a safety walkthrough with ANFF-Qld Cleanroom team member.
