Tips for Meeting Attendees

 Ensure you are using either a laptop, home computer, tablet/ipad or mobile phone that will receive the presentation clearly.

 Ensure your internet connection is performing well.

 When you log into zoom, ensure your first and last name appears. If your ticket was purchased in a different name, for example, your club administrator may have purchased your ticket for you, please place their name in brackets. eg. Jo Black (Julie McNaught). This is to ensure that we are able to reconcile all ticket purchases..

 Please mute your microphone

To help keep background noise to a minimum, make sure you mute your microphone when you are not speaking.

 Be mindful of background noise

When your microphone is not muted, avoid activities that could create additional noise.

 Position your camera properly

Be sure it is in a stable position and focused at eye level, if possible. Doing so helps create a more direct sense of engagement with the presenter and other participants. We encourage all attendees to leave their camera on.
