ANFF-Qld Cleanrooms Access training dates

2023 ANFF-Qld Cleanroom access training dates - training for ANFF-Qld Facility Users seeking to access equipment and process training in the MicroFab and NanoFabs. Required for AIBN Cleanroom building access.

With the re-opening of the expanded and refurbished nanofab and microfab Cleanrooms in January 2023, ANFF-Qld Node UQ Hub can provide an updated training module for new Facility Users and existing Users that are renewing Cleanroom access. Please register to attend the training session to access the ANFF-Qld Cleanrooms in 2023. To attend training you need to do or have the following pre-requisites. <ul><li>Be an active Facility User in the ANFF-Qld Booking system. </li></ul><ul><li>Have active AIBN Building access to Level 2 East Wing offices and PC2 Laboratory. </li></ul><ul><li>Review the 3 mandatory risk assessments in UQ Health and Safety Management system UQsafe for Cleanroom access. These are : 17970 ANFF-Q Hydrofluoric acid (HF) Vapour Etcher; 16377 Class 10,000 Cleanroom; and, 16623 Class 1,000 Cleanroom.</li></ul>Attendees will be required to attend a 40min presentation and complete an information quiz . A walkthrough of the Cleanrooms is also required for building access . This walkthrough can be organised in initial equipment training sessions or through appointment with an ANFF-Qld Cleanroom staff member. A﻿ pass result quiz, reviewed risk assessments, and a Cleanrooms walkthrough are all required before building access request can be arranged. Building access to the ANFF-Qld Cleanrooms cannot be granted unless the above conditions are fulfilled.
