Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre, QTAC, administers a majority of applications for further education at universities following Year 12.
An information evening describing the processes involved in applying for university and TAFE courses will be held on Monday the 26th of July, Week 2, at 5pm at the College.
We will host this on-campus in administration, pending the COVID situation of course. All Year 12 students and families are welcome but this information pertains to those considering a University pathway and students considering this pathway are strongly encouraged to attend.
We will be exploring topics such as the QTAC application process, pathways into University, prerequisites and ordering course preferences strategically.
To ensure safety, all guests must follow COVID-safe procedures including check-in via the QLD Health App.
Guests are not allowed to enter the event if in the previous 14 days they have:
- returned to Australia from overseas (other than a safe travel zone country)
- been in close contact with an active COVID-19 case
- been in a Queensland declared COVID-19 hotspot, place of concern or exposure venue, as defined by the Chief Health Officer
- had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms in the last 72 hours.
