About this event

The annual Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Awards recognise the achievements of people with disability, those who support them and the inclusive sport and recreation sector in Victoria.

It is an opportunity to celebrate the athletes, volunteers, officials, coaches, clubs, communities, venues and programs that enable and empower people with disability to get active and achieve their goals.

Drinks and canapes will be served on arrival from 4:30pm and at the conclusion of the award ceremony

Formalities begin at 5:30pm and end at approximately 7:30pm. We look forward to celebrating excellence in our sector with you!

Train/Tram/Bus: Flinders Street Station is a five minute walk from PwC.

The following car parks are nearby:

Wilson Parking – Riverside Quay, 2 Riverside Quay, Southbank ($10 after 4.00pm)

The closest taxi rank is located on the corner of Riverside Quay and Cook Street.

Accessibility

Please let us know if you have any accessibility, mobility or dietary requirements when you register.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. There are steps to the left and centre of the building entrance and ramp access on the right.

Auslan will be available for the formal part of the ceremony. If you would like an interpreter to help you network with other guests before and after the ceremony, please let us know when you register.

Dress code

Business casual. A cloakroom will be available at the venue.

Photography

There will be photographers at the event. Please let us know if you do not wish to be photographed or have any issues with flash photography.

COVID safe

The safety of our attendees is paramount.

We will be providing a Service Victoria QR code for checking in and manual sign in option for those without smartphones so that we have details for contact tracing and don't go over the capacity limits and hand sanitiser. You will need to bring proof of your double vaccinated status and we ask that you not attend if you have COVID symptoms or have been to a hotspot. Masks are mandatory for this event.
