Register for a Queensland Day merchandise pack to celebrate Queensland's seperation from New South Wales.

The merchandise pack contains a calico bag, stickers, a tea towel, apron, post it notes, magnet frames and napkins to assist you in celebrating Queensland Day.

There is a limit of one pack per registrant and stocks are limited. Packs will be distributed from Tuesday 7 May 2019 until Thursday 30 May 2019 (or until stocks run out).

Queensland Day is a celebration of Queensland’s birthday and its official separation from New South Wales as an independent colony on 6 June 1859.

Celebrated annually, Queensland Day is an opportunity to celebrate the state’s culture, heritage, people, places and industry.

In 2019 Queensland Day is celebrated on Thursday 6 June, and will see the state celebrate its 160th birthday.

Queenslanders across the state, including councils, schools, businesses, community groups, sporting teams and individuals, are encouraged to participate in Queensland Day celebrations.

Should you wish to register to receive a Queensland Day merchandise pack, the State of Queensland through the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (“the Department”) will collect your personal information as part of the registration process, including your name, mailing address, contact phone numbers, e-mail address and, if you choose to complete the survey during the registration process, your survey responses.

Your personal information will be stored securely and will be accessed by authorised officers from the Department for the purpose of administering and facilitating the delivery of the Queensland Day merchandise pack to your nominated mailing address. Any survey responses that you provide will be de-identified and used for the Department’s internal reporting process to evaluate the initiative. The e-mail address you provide as part of the registration process may be used by the Department to notify you of Queensland Government events and initiatives relating to the Queensland Day Program in future years. If you do not wish to be notified of future Queensland Day Program events, please contact us at QldDay@premiers.qld.gov.au.

The registration process for Queensland Day merchandise packs is being conducted using Eventbrite and information you provide will be transferred to Eventbrite’s servers located in countries outside Australia, including the United States. By providing your personal information as part of the registration process, you agree to this transfer.
