2019 Canna Reserve BioBlitz

Northern Agricultural Catchments Council and the Shire of Morawa are co-hosting the 2019 Canna Reserve BioBlitz.

The Canna Reserve BioBlitz is a community project aimed at bringing together professional and amateur ecologists - and those interested in learning more about their natural environment. It is a great way to engage the community in their local environment and increase their knowledge and awareness of what is in their own backyard.

Professional biologists and capable amateurs from the local area, Perth and throughout the Southwest – will lend their expertise in the finding and identifying of taxa within their respective field.

There will be lots to do and learn at the 2019 Canna Reserve BioBlitz. Participants will have the opportunity to help put-out and monitor motion sensor cameras, echo-location devices, pit-fall traps, cage traps, sand pad traps and much more.
