Description

Only open to Indigenous Postgraduate students enrolled in Queensland and New South Wales Universities.

An opportunity for Indigenous postgraduate students who are beginning their candidature.

The National Indigenous Research and Knowledges Network (NIRAKN) will begin the 2018 research capacity building calendar with Level A Workshops on March 21st - 23rd, hosted by the Queensland University of Technology.

Based on Distinguished Professor Aileen Moreton Robinson’s program, the Level A Workshop is specifically designed for beginning Indigenous PhD and Masters by Research postgraduate students. These workshops will be led by Associate Professor Peter Anderson, Dr David Singh and Dr Levon Blue and serve as an introduction to Indigenous higher degree research.

Registration and participation is free of charge. NIRAKN will also provide return Brisbane flights and accommodation, however participants will need to cover ground transport costs and meals outside of the daily program.

Spaces are limited and applications will be subject to review by the NIRAKN teaching team.
