2018 ACTEBA Open Doubles Championships

Round 1 - 8th & 9th September

REGISTRATIONS ONLY THROUGH EVENTBRITE - DO NOT TRANSFER DIRECTLY TO ACTEBA

• Open to ACTEBA Members
• Venue – TBA (Top 20 will be @ HGC)
  
• Seeds based on last 2 years Doubles results
• $15 Entry + admin fee

FORMAT:

Round 1 (8th & 9th September) - Split into groups of around 8 players, Round robin x 3, with top 3 or 4 progressing from each group. Top 10 (approx) seeds will have a bye round 1

Round 2 (15th & 16th September) - Seeds plus qaulifiers from round 1 split into 5 groups - Round robin x 3, with top 4 progressing from each group to Top 20

Round 3 Top 20 (22nd & 23rd September) - All 20 players in a double elimination knockout over 2 days.

Note:

Play commences at 11am where possible, but this may vary depending on the venues being used. Tables will be open a half hour before expected starting time for practice. Rounds will require approximately 7 to 8 hours to complete. There will be no breaks for lunch.

Groups will be published on the Monday after each round

ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION ENTERED ON THIS FORM WILL REMAIN PRIVATE AND IS NOT PUBLISHED ON THE INTERNET AND IS ONLY ACCESSABLE BY ACTEBA COMMITTEE MEMBERS.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

• The format and dates for the event have been based on an expected number of entries being received. The Tournament Director reserves the right to vary both the format and dates should this become necessary.
• Seeds will be taken strictly from last 2 years results of the Open Doubles
  
• All entries are accepted under the provision that the entrant agrees to abide by all and any directions made by the Tournament Director and that their decisions will be final.
• The draws will be e-mailed to all competitors who have provided an email address, and will also be available on the ACTEBA website (acteba.com.au) and Facebook page. Competitors will NOT be notified by phone. It is each player’s responsibility to ensure they are aware of what time their match is on. If you don’t have email, then make sure you contact the Tournament Director!
