Multi-jurisdictional estates - planning and administration issues

The presentation will consider:

  • Australian Will, International Will or separate Wills for each jurisdiction?
  • The new European succession regulations
  • Resealing grants of representation
  • Probate of overseas Wills
  • Conflict Laws

Ines Kallweit is an Accredited specialist in Wills and Estates whose practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation. Ines has a Master of Teaching and is an adjunct lecturer at the College of Law.


A light lunch will be provided from 12.30pm with seminar commencing at 1pm.

Any pre-conference materials supplied by our speaker, plus instructions on how to access the seminar remotely, will be circulated the evening prior to the seminar.

FAQ

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, you can transfer your ticket. If you have bought a STEP member ticket the ticket is transferrable to another STEP member. If you have bought a non-member ticket it is transferrable to either a STEP member or a non-member. If you do intend to transfer your ticket, advance notice would be appreciated so that a name tag can be supplied.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, a list of registered attendees will be at the door.

I RSVP'd that I would attend in person but something has come up - can I attend remotely?
Yes, information about to attend remotely will be sent the day prior to the seminar to all registered attendees.

Will the materials be sent around in advance?
If the speaker provides the materials in advance they will be circulated the day prior to the seminar.

I have a season ticket, do I need to RSVP?
It would be appreciated if you did RSVP if you intend to attend in person. This assists with accurate numbers for catering. As a season ticket holder you will always recieve the recording of the seminar after the event and you are always welcome to attend remotely.
