Due to safety reasons we are unable to allow visitors to bring their own Dogs into the Show but there will be literally hundreds of beautiful Dogs on show to meet, pat & connect with at the Show. Click here to view policy and by purchasing a ticket you agree to abide by the Dog & Safety welfare plan.
When you buy your ticket you will need to select which day you will attend the Show. Tickets are only valid for the day they are purchased so additional tickets are required for multi-day visits. Tickets are non-transferable once purchased.

Yes, visitors with accredited Assistance Dogs are able to bring their dogs into the Show, however they will need to show verification at the door.
There is public parking underneath the Royal Exhibition Building/Melbourne Museum with stacks of car parking options in the area and city including Wilson Parking on 90 Victoria Pde, East Melbourne and at the Eye and Ear Hospital plus if you book online, you can purchase a discounted daily ticket. Tram number 96 & 86 run along Nicholson Street and stop near the Museum Concourse Gate across from the Royal Exhibition Building.
There is a free City Circle Tram to Victoria Parade but please note that there is no stop at Spencer Street Station. The City loop train to Parliament Station (Spring Street exit) is an easy 5 minute walk away from the venue and a great option.
Bus routes 250, 251 and 402 to Rathdowne Street

ATM machines will be set-up on the Ground Floor and the venue also has a permanent ATM. Most exhibitors will be selling and launching an extensive range of fantastic new products and services at the event with Show Specials and great offers exclusive to the Dog Lovers Show! We strongly recommend you bring cash as the ATM wait times can occur but many Exhibitors will accept credit card & EFTPOS facilities.
Are there any additional costs once I’m inside the show?
All the entertainment, education, information and attractions are free upon entry so it’s a great value day out! But arrive early if you want seats to the Arena and Stage shows!
Absolutely! It’s like a huge doggy supermarket with 200+ Exhibitors showcasing and selling all the latest and greatest toys, treats, accessories, food, insurance and services to reward your pooch! There's also lots of exclusive show specials!
We are governed by the Victorian Domestic Animals Act, which states that under no circumstances are we permitted to have any dog adopted and/or sold at the event. However all the information will be on hand to ensure you are very well informed on all the best options.
