Description
Are you a future engineer? Come along to Engineering Futures Evening and be inspired by the journey of three professional engineers to discover if engineering could be the career for you.
Whether the seed to study engineering was planted by a teacher, parent, friend or someone unexpected, every journey is a little different. Students, parents and teachers are invited to be inspired as you hear the journeys of:

Presentations will be followed by a Q&A and networking session. The networking session will include engineering societies and industry representatives. A light dinner will be provided.
Continuing Professional Development credits are available for teachers attending this event.
The event will be held in the GHD Auditorium (49-200), which is Level 2 of the Advanced Engineering Building.
Getting to UQ by public transport: UQ Chancellor's Place bus stop, UQ Lakes bus stop and the UQ St Lucia CityCat terminal are a 10 minute walk to the engineering precinct.
Getting to UQ by vehicle: The nearest casual car park is located under the playing fields off of Union Road (Refer to 7K on the UQ St Lucia map) and a 10 minute walk to the engineering precinct.
