Annual Gippsland Gala Ball Fundraiser

The aim of this fundraiser is to raise funds for kids who have special education needs at primary level.

Accelerated Program Facilities" in Gippsland. Children who require advanced teaching or accelerated programs will be a facility where parents can attend and utilise a great facility and options - a place to participate and meet with likeminded children during and after school.

The future of Gippsland is our children.

Our Balls are honoured to have guest speakers, :

• Business: What is the future business and industry in the La Trobe area? - What jobs will our children be working in? Are we going to be the engineer & farming capital of Victoria?
• Social & Economic Issues of our area that are impacting our primary school children - and how a simple new program can make a child smile for the first time.
• Talented & Gifted Children - the issues of our children getting bored and the overall impact. If children do not get the challenges they need, they may become disengage and drop out of school.

The Ball is reaching out to business families, the community and sponsors to help develop and grow this facility with additional funds; for resources of extra specialist teachers, purchasing of program materials and units, entrance and application fees, tournament of minds, mindfulness programs, and introduce science and engineering to our primary children.

Where business and families join together in understanding that "Accelerating our children is everyone's business, and the future of Gippsland is our children.”

Most importantly, this program’s fundraising target is $100,000 which is to provide state of the art facilities. The Gala Ball, and as little as 250 businesses @ $250 each, we can achieve 75% of the target. Sponsorship of $50 from 750 families or community members, we will help us to meet this year’s target!

This is about our primary children - What a gift we can give to them and our community by showing our children how much we care and lead by example.
