Join us for an artist-led workshop with exhibiting artist, Eliza Adam.
Under the guidance of exhibiting artist Eliza Adam, participants will experiment with a range of mark-making techniques while exploring the micro qualities of cells and bacteria.
A microcosm is a miniature world that mirrors a larger system. Working from microscopes and stimulus images, attendees will create multimedia works that mimic looking through a lens. You will experiment with the textures of gesso, fluid watercolour washes, and fine liners, using layering and repetition to turn tiny biological structures into unique mini worlds.
This workshop is suitable for both beginner and experienced artists.
Eliza Adam’s exhibition Holding Force is on display at Logan Art Gallery from 31 October - 5 December 2026.
