Join this familiy friendly community ride highlighting the connections needed to make cycling an option for more people in and around Cape Paterson and Wonthaggi and hear how dedicated funding can make our lives happier and healthier.

Cape Paterson BUG will be drawing attention to the urgent need to fund the missing trail linking Boundary Rd to Fulton Rd in Cape Paterson (only 2km through an existing road reserve), which would provide safer access for Cape Paterson residents to both Inverloch and Wonthaggi via the new Wonthaggi-Inverloch Trail (as identified in the initial planning documents).

The ride will follow Nyora-Wonthaggi Rail Trail to Capeview Mitre 10, then the new

Wonthaggi to Inverloch Trail to Boundary Rd, Wonthaggi .

Riders can choose to continue to Inverloch after viewing the site of a possible connection at Boundary Road, or retrace their path back to Wonthaggi Station/Museum.
