GCPC Pride Formal for LGBTQIA+ Youth

Gold Coast Pride Formal 2026
Saturday 21 November 2026 | 6pm–10pm
QT Gold Coast | FREE registration
The Gold Coast Pride Collective is proud to present the Gold Coast Pride Formal—a night for LGBTQIA+ young people to express themselves, celebrate with their community and arrive looking fabulous in whatever makes them feel most comfortable.
Every young person deserves the chance to celebrate who they are and attend with who they love. For some LGBTQIA+ students, their school formal may not feel like a safe or welcoming place. Others may have missed out, chosen not to attend, or simply want to celebrate alongside their LGBTQIA+ peers. This event is for them.
We’re putting a fresh spin on the traditional formal with astand-up, party-style celebration. Whether you’re going all-out in formalwear, showing off your own unique style or wearing something that simply feels like you, you’re welcome here.
Enjoy four hours of:

• Live DJs and dancing

• Drag performances

• Games, competitions and prizes

• Free food and drinks

This is a strictly drug and alcohol free event.
Registration is free and open to school-age students in Queensland, up to 21 years old. LGBTQIA+ students, allies and friends are all welcome. Partners are not subject to the same age restriction, but everyone attending is reminded that this is a youth event, focused on supporting and celebrating school-age young people.
Free registration will be available through Eventbrite.
Help keep the celebration free
Members of the public can donate the cost of a ticket through Eventbrite to help cover event costs and ensure young people can attend for free. Your donation supports a student’s place—you don’t need to distribute a ticket or nominate a student.
Come as you are, bring your sparkle and celebrate with your community.
