Design Wilds + Flower Shelter exhibition opening
Join us for the opening of the 'Design Wilds' exhibition featuring 'Flower Shelter' by Fiona Harding (Spirit You)
‘Design Wilds’ celebrates the wildflowers and plants of our wild places with a suite of pattern designs and works created by 20 different artist/designers from across the region and beyond.
The exhibition also features the first iteration of Fiona Harding's 'Flower Shelter', an immersive installation featuring over 5000 flowers, all hand-crafted from reclaimed fabrics.
Free but donation of $5-10 towards food and drinks would be much appreciated.
(This event will occur within and outside of the Arts & Ecology Centre, Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, Palm Creek Rd, Tanawha.
Please note that it may be dark when you leave the event so you might need a torch when walking back to your car. The gates will be locked at 8.00 pm)
