Tocar La Roca

The name says it all! Tocar la Roca (Touch the Rock). Malaga to Gibraltar! We’ve got a brand new adventure lined up that promises to be legendary. We're heading straight for Gibraltar during one of the best times of the year to ride around here. Most of the route will be on smooth tarmac, but we're throwing in a few gravel sections to spice things up. This gives the ride a fun twist and means we’ll have a great mix of different bikes in the group! Upon reaching Gibraltar and completing the ritual of touching the rock, we’ll all celebrate together. We will welcome people into town as they arrive with a drink by the sea side.

Fin: Punta Europa, Gibraltar

Surface: Tarmac with some short gravel sections

Which Bike: Endurance road with wide tire clearance or gravel bike.

Luggage drop: Drop your bag off at Curve in the week beforehand and we'll haul it in the support van so you can ride light.

Accommodation: Booking your bed for the night in La Linea is up to you. If you need any recommendations on where to stay, just ask!

Self Supported: Make sure you have the appropriate spares and tools to keep you and your bike rolling all the way to la roca! You'll need plenty of snacks and everything else you need to keep yourself going for a full day on the bike. Good lights will be required as the first few hours will be before sunrise!

Easy ride home: To get back to Málaga, we'll have a private bus and van waiting in La Línea. We'll take you, your bike, and your gear back home for €30. The Bus leaves Sunday at 12PM.
