This form is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only. As places are limited, all applications will be assessed against the Program eligibility criteria and participant selection requirements.

Successful applicants will receive a separate confirmation whether the applicable has been offered a place in the Program.

Please do not make any personal travel arrangements until you have received written confirmation of your participation.

Only applicants who receive a formal confirmation from Australian Industry Group will be considered registered participants.

NSW Industry Visit Program: Hunter Valley Agribusiness, Tourism & Innovation Experience

About the Event

Join us for a unique two-day industry immersion program designed for international students (from China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, and Macau SAR) studying in NSW.

This exclusive experience provides participants with the opportunity to:

• Visit leading Australian businesses and industry facilities
• Learn about Australia's agribusiness, food manufacturing, tourism and export sectors
• Engage directly with industry leaders and professionals
• Develop professional networks and industry knowledge
• Gain insights into career pathways and business opportunities in regional Australia
• Attend the Hunter Innovation Festival, one of the region’s premier innovation events, and connect with entrepreneurs, startups, industry experts, researchers and investors during innovation across a range of sectors.

The program includes visits to agribusiness, food production, tourism, logistics and regional innovation businesses across the Hunter Valley and Newcastle regions.

Program Highlights

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• ·Visit key agribusiness, food and tourism enterprises
• Attend industry presentations and business briefings
• Attend selected sessions at the Hunter Innovation Festival and gain exposure to emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems in regional Australia.
• Explore regional economic development and innovation opportunities
• Network with business leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and fellow students
• Gain practical exposure to Australian workplaces and industries

Eligibility

To be eligible, participants must:

• Be currently enrolled in an Australian tertiary education institution
• Be an international student (from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau) studying in NSW
• Be aged 18 years or older at the time of the program
• Be available to attend the full two-day program
• Agree to the Program Terms and Conditions

What's Included

The Program will provide:

• Return group transport during the industry visit
• Overnight accommodation (twin-share basis)
• Meals during the Program
• Industry visits and networking activities
• Program materials

There is no cost to participate.

Please note that personal expenses and any items not specified above are the responsibility of participants.

Important Information

Accommodation

Participants that are selected will be accommodated on a twin-sharing basis. Room allocations will be organised by the Program Coordinator.

Meals

Meals will be provided throughout the Program. Please advise any dietary requirements during registration.

Alcohol

This is an alcohol-free event. No alcohol will be served as part of the official Program.

Medical Requirements

Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, accessibility requirements, dietary restrictions or other circumstances that may affect their participation in the Program.

This information will be used solely for the Participant’s welfare, safety and emergency response purposes.

Emergency Contact

Participants must provide the name, relationship and contact details of an emergency contact person that is nominated.

Photography and Media Consent

Photographs, video recordings and promotional content may be captured during the Program.

By registering, each Participant consents to the use of images and recordings for reporting, marketing, promotional and program-related purposes unless otherwise as notified by the Participant in writing before the event.

Privacy Statement

Personal information collected through this registration process will be managed in accordance with Australian Industry Group's Privacy Policy and used solely for the administration and delivery of the Program.

By registering and submitting an EOI, each Participant acknowledges and accepts Australian Industry Group's Privacy Policy.

Cancellation Policy

As places are limited, participants who can no longer attend are requested to notify the Program Coordinator as soon as possible.

Failure to attend without prior notice may affect eligibility for future funded programs.
