Join us this Arbor Day for Cup of Tea with a Tree, a relaxed 90-minute guided experience designed to deepen your connection with the natural world. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply seeking a peaceful way to celebrate Arbor Day, this guided walk offers the perfect opportunity to pause, connect, and appreciate the remarkable trees that share our city.
Enjoy a gentle 2.5km bushland stroll, share a warming cup of tea, and go into the draw for plant giveaways on the day. Moderate fitness required as tracks have some steps, gentle hills, and uneven terrain.
AGE: Adults and children aged 16 years and over.
COST: Free.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER
- Maximum 5 tickets. Please do not overbook, places are limited at this free event.
- A parent/adult carer must accompany children, maximum adult to child ratio 1:4 required.
- If your plans change and you cannot attend, please cancel your tickets via Eventbrite.
WHAT TO BRING:
- A mug or reusable cup
- Hat, sun-smart clothing, suncreen
- Comfortable, fully enclosed walking shoes
- Reusable water bottle and snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.
- Lightweight outdoor chair if you would like to use one (optional).
ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to register with staff at the environment centre.
- Public toilets are located at the environment centre.
- Free carparking at the centre, however parking may be limited during busy periods. If the carpark is full, street parking is available in nearby Raven Street.
Note: This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
