Join the Chinese Association of Professionals and Scholars, Australia (CAPS) for a two-day program featuring the CAPS 20th Anniversary Celebration and the 16th Annual Research Symposium.

Taking place at the University of Melbourne on 16–17 October 2026, this flagship event will bring HDR students, emerging researchers, distinguished academics, industry leaders and professionals from across Australia.

Under the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Trailblazers”, the program will celebrate two decades of CAPS while creating opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange, research communication, professional development and collaboration between academia, industry and the wider community.

CAPS 20th Anniversary Celebration and Opening Ceremony of the 16th Annual Research Symposium

The opening day will commemorate the 20th anniversary of CAPS and officially open the 16th Annual Research Symposium. The program will feature opening addresses, an anniversary celebration, award presentations, afternoon tea and a panel discussion.

The second day will feature plenary presentations, academic and industry discussions, poster presentations, parallel research sessions, and a forum highlighting emerging leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship.
