As we approach our 30TH Fascination, we were wondering... which is the better 80s music - US or UK? DJ Eddie Monsoon thinks he knows the answer but what about all of you? Cue an epic US vs UK pop battle edition of Fascination!
Kicking off at 9pm we'll be playing music from the likes of DURAN DURAN, NEW ORDER, BRONSKI BEAT, WHAM, ERASURE, SOFT CELL, YAZOO, VISAGE, HUMAN LEAGUE, DEPECHE MODE, PET SHOP BOYS, THE CURE, THE COMMUNARDS, HEAVEN 17, DEAD OR ALIVE, ULTRAVOX, JAPAN, OMD, SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES, TEARS FOR FEARS but we'll also be adding in a bunch of US stuff.
This is a US vs UK pop battle that needed to happen! All you need to do is vote with your dancing!
We'll be at LCKR ROOM - 95 Smith St Fitzroy.
We'll be playing the best alternative tunes the 80s produced - UK & US and probably more.
Come along, bring your friends and have a dance and enjoy drinks from the bar.
