The Disease Management Extension Network workshops are designed to help growers and advisers build the knowledge and practical skills needed to make confident, long-term disease management decisions.

This workshop, which follows on from the GRDC Grains Research Update in Cummins, will cover current seasonal conditions, factors influencing disease development, fungicide resistance and the latest research findings, before moving into the field to inspect a blackleg disease monitoring site.Join leading canola researchers Dr Angela Van de Wouw and Dr Steve Marcroft, Marcroft Grains Pathology, and Andrew Ware, EPAG Research, to discuss current disease issues and ask questions.What you'll learn<ul><li>What 2026 seasonal conditions mean for canola crops.</li><li>Disease development and management decisions.</li><li>How fungicide resistance develops and current status on the Eyre Peninsula.</li><li>Fungicide timing and application.</li><li>An in-field visit to the canola blackleg monitoring site.</li></ul>Who should attend?This workshop is open to growers, advisers and agronomists wanting practical, up-to-date information on managing canola diseases and using fungicides effectively as part of an integrated disease management strategy.This workshop will be facilitated by Belinda Cay, Director, AgCommunicators.
