What artificial intelligence is, how it works, and why it matters in everyday life. The presentation demystifies AI by explaining key concepts like data, machine learning, and pattern recognition, highlights common myths and limitations, and shows where AI is already used - from search engines and streaming services to libraries, education, and healthcare.
This session is being presented by Zoran Opacic – Digital Literacy Programs Officer, Public Library Services (State Library of South Australia). Zoran leads digital literacy initiatives across South Australia, delivering engaging workshops for both library staff and community members.
