Healesville: Labour hire licensing changes from 1 June
Healesville Session: Information session for labour hire businesses about changes to Victoria’s labour hire law from 1 June 2026.
Changes to make Victoria’s labour hire laws stronger and broader came into effect on 1 June 2026 for all labour hire licence holders and applicants.
The Labour Hire Authority (LHA) is holding information sessions in June and July – across Victoria and online – for labour hire businesses and stakeholders to learn more about these changes.
Key topics these sessions will cover:
· changes to who is considered suitable to hold a labour hire licence, and on what basis
· new information that licence holders and applicants must supply to LHA
· new standard licence conditions that apply in high-risk labour hire industries
· tools and resources to support businesses regarding the changes.
Labour hire providers are strongly encouraged to attend an information session to support compliance with the new licensing requirements.
There is also an opportunity to submit a question when you register – this is recommended, so LHA can address as many questions as possible during the session.
Please note that photo ID and pre-registration are required for entry.
