Step behind the gates of Government House and enjoy a free guided walk through 16 hectares of heritage‑listed gardens, showcasing a rich blend of formal landscapes, historical features, and native bushland. Highlights of the tour include the formal landscape zone, the historic Cedar tree, Bick and Bailey Corridor, Rose Rockeries, ornamental ponds, and native Australian bushland.
The tour involves extensive walking up and down steep hills, and a moderate level of fitness is required. Unfortunately, the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Tours run for approximately 90 minutes and include complimentary tea and coffee.
