Join us for the opening of Yarrabah: Together in Print, our first exhibition in Gallery 1.This exhibition features a vibrant collection of screen-printed works by artists from the Yarrabah Arts and Cultural Precinct in Far North Queensland. It brings together both individual prints and large-scale collaborative canvases, showcasing the work of renowned artists Philomena Yeatman, Michelle Yeatman, Edna Ambrym, Valmai Pollard, Simone Arnol, and Christopher Harris.We are delighted to welcome guest artists Michelle and Philomena Yeatman, who will join us for the opening. They will also present an artist talk on Saturday, 18 April. This is a great opportunity to gain deeper insight into the works and the stories behind them.Each artwork carries its own rhythm, with layers of colour, texture, and mark-making that reflect both individual expression and collective creativity. Designs intersect and overlap, forming dynamic patterns and narratives across the exhibition.Yarrabah: Together in Print celebrates the strength of collaboration, where each artist contributes a distinct voice to a shared visual story of culture, identity, and connection.
