Accepted Answer

The In Good Company Long Lunch is a relaxed, hosted social gathering for singles who value conversation, connection, and a comfortable atmosphere.
It’s friendship-first, low pressure, and designed to feel more like a long lunch with good company than a structured “event”.

Question 2

Is this a dating event?

Accepted Answer

Not in the traditional sense.
In Good Company is friendship first with subtle dating energy. There’s no matching, no speed dating, and no expectation to pair up. The focus is simply on good conversation and enjoying the experience. Anything more, if it happens, unfolds naturally.

Question 3

What can I expect on the day?

Accepted Answer

•	A warm welcome from your host (Jen)

•	Plenty of space to chat, listen, and enjoy the food and view
•	No awkward icebreakers or forced activities
Engage at your own pace!

Accepted Answer

Yes — most attendees come solo.
That’s completely normal, and everything is hosted to make it feel easy and inclusive from the start.

Question 5

How many people will be there?

Accepted Answer

This long lunch is intentionally small to medium-sized (approximately 15–20 people) so conversation feels comfortable and no one gets lost in the group.

Question 6

What’s the age range?

Accepted Answer

This event is designed for mid-life singles, generally around 40–65. The focus is on shared life experience, maturity, and ease.

Question 7

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Smart-casual is perfect.
Think:
•	Comfortable
•	Relaxed
•	Something you’d wear to a nice lunch with friends
There’s no need to dress up beyond feeling like yourself.

Question 8

Do I need to stay the whole time?

Accepted Answer

Not at all.
You’re welcome to stay for the full lunch or head off when it feels right for you. There’s no pressure either way.

Question 9

Will food and drinks be included?

Accepted Answer

Food and drinks are ordered and paid for individually on the day, directly with the venue.
This keeps things simple and flexible for everyone.

Question 10

Accepted Answer

Completely.
Trying something new always comes with a few nerves. The event is designed to be gentle, welcoming, and well held, and many people leave saying they’re really glad they came.

Accepted Answer

In Good Company runs ongoing gatherings throughout the year. Many people come once, then return because they enjoy the familiarity and ease.
There’s no obligation to attend again — just an open invitation.
