The Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) now offers continuing professional development (CPD) Type 2 sessions that property managers and agents can attend to meet their mandatory CPD requirements.
When: Friday 27 February 2026.
Time: Doors open 9:00am for registration.
Start time 9:30am (incl. morning tea break).
End time 12:00 noon.
Where: The Glen Hotel (Elaine Room), 24 Gaskell St Eight Mile Plains.
Registration is essential for this session and spots are limited. To secure your seat today, register now (please make sure you complete all fields for a valid registration). This is an individual ticketed event, unfortunately walk-ins cannot be accepted on the day.
During this session you will gain an understanding of:
- the importance of communication and self-resolution skills
- the tenancy lifecycle and where disputes may occur
- tips and strategies to resolve disputes
- the difference between an RTA dispute and a BCCM dispute
- RTA’s free dispute resolution service
- QCAT process.
This 2.5 hour face-to-face session will cover important information for property managers and agents to know about communication and how to resolve disputes throughout the tenancy.
You will have the opportunity to participate in case study discussions within the group and ask our expert team questions about Queensland tenancy law.
After the session, you will walk away with practical information to support effective communication and dispute management in your daily practices.
