    c. Mainenance Plans
    d. Expert Reports (Quantum)
  • Limitations on ASBC Members to complete cost estimates within Building Expert Reports
  • Key contact/s at AIQS for ASBC Members to attain the services of an AIQS Member
  • Open discussion soliciting comments from ASBC Members on ideas on how AIQS/ASBC could further collaborate

Presentation to include:

  • Must an owner provide the builder with an opportunity to rectify defects?
  • Not according to the Court of appeal in Ceerose Pty Ltd v The Owners - Strata Plan No 89074


2. Topic : Demolition as part of rectification - do you need a demolition licence?

Presentation will include:

  • What is "licenced demolition work?
  • What are the exceptions?
  • What is the difference between an unrestricted licence and a restricted licence?
