Neil Shepherd is the founder of Inner Synergy, a provider of evidence-based mindfulness and wellbeing training. He focuses on practical, non-religious, science-backed methods that help participants develop self-awareness, regulate stress, and build resilience in demanding environments.With more than 24 years of personal practice and 8 years of professional facilitation experience, Neil has worked with thousands of individuals in both corporate and public settings. He holds certifications with Mindfulness Works, is a Corporate Triple Goal (Mindful Leader) certified partner/facilitator (with Michael Bunting). He has trained in Acceptance and Commitment Training with Dr. Russ Harris and enhanced his understanding of mindfulness and its neuroscientific basis through courses with Dr. Joe Dispenza.Neil is a graduate of Google’s Search Inside Yourself Leadership program and a certified “Peaceful Kids” and “Peaceful Parents” facilitator. He is an internationally certified HeartMath™ Mentor/Coach and a Senior Educator certified by the Meditation Australia Association.His extensive corporate background includes leadership roles in areas such as Air Traffic Control IT systems, mission-critical applications, business improvement, and complex project management. He understands the complexities of organisational structures and cultures, enabling him to design and deliver training that meets diverse professional needs. He is qualified in mindfulness, coaching, project management, management, Lean Six Sigma, systems engineering, and industrial electronics automation.Through Inner Synergy, Neil aims to help individuals and organisations establish lasting "trait mindfulness" practices and improve overall wellbeing. His goal is to move beyond “tick-the-box” approaches to wellbeing and empower people with skills that supports beneficial, intentional, resilient, and congruent living.

Welcome to our Half day meditation workshop!Join us at Hawker Christ Church - Upper Training Room on Saturday, Feb 28, 2026 starting from 9:30 AM till 12.30pm for a rejuvenating time-out experience. Take a break from your busy schedule and immerse yourself in a morning of relaxation and self-discovery. Noting this is a non-religious event.This workshop is designed to help you find some peace and balance in your life through various guided meditation sessions. Whether you're new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, this event is open to all.Come as you are and leave feeling refreshed and centered. Don't miss this opportunity to prioritise your well-being and connect with other like-minded individuals. We look forward to seeing you there!To help build a sense of community, those who’d like to are welcome to join us for a casual lunch nearby afterwards (at own expense). Parking available nearby

Agenda

We will provide a variety of simple to do, yet very effective guided mindfulness meditation experiences to help settle a busy mind.  We will start with short and simpler options while building on this over the 3 hours. This workshop is designed to be practical, experiential and easy to do (not adding further demands on an already stressed or busy overthinking mind). Sit back and relax and follow along with an experienced and accredited mindfulness teacher. The session is non-religious.  For those interested, we can have a follow on lunch somewhere local to help build community.
