Join tour guide and Ngunnawal Traditional Custodian, Tyronne Belle for a walking tour, following the tracks and service trails of Black Mountain. Learn about the Aboriginal cultural sites, bush tucker and other plants, and the freshwater gullies that drain the mountains slopes to Sullivan’s Creek.
This walk will take approximately 2 hours and the degree of difficulty is generally easy with some steep sections.
Time: Please meet at 12:50pm for a 1pm start
What to wear: Comfortable, protective clothing (a light jacket in case of rain), sturdy enclosed walking shoes, hat/sunscreen, water & snack, camera.
Please note: the walk will go ahead in light rain. In the event of heavy rain or strong wind the event will be rescheduled.
Location: Meet at Frith Road, at entrance to Actew substation, the exact location can be found here. Please check the starting location and ensure that you can arrive on time, late starters will not be permitted to join.
Available registrations are very limited, please only register if you know that you can attend.
