Learn how to paint Native Bees at this fun all day watercolour painting workshop. You will take away your own beautiful artwork & new skills

Ready for creative time? Enjoy a day by the Hawkesbury River painting our local native bee species. Our day begins celebrating the over 1700 species of Australian native bees with a local bee enthusiast. Sample honey of the native stingless bee followed by a superb morning tea.

Learn simple techniques for painting Australian bees in watercolour under the expert guidance of Central Coast artist and designer Leonie Loewe.

​Morning tea, lunch and all painting equipment provided plus personal take-home gift.

You will be guided step by step in the use of watercolours, colour mixing and painting techniques.

With an eye to detail to capture the essence of one of our beloved pollinators, we will explore some modern watercolour techniques to create interesting texture, giving a fun twist to our winged foragers and garden alchemists.
