Join us to support Reconciliation and community building through collaborative art.

Tiwu Kumangka (Blackwood Library and Community Centre)

Experience a special workshop led by Aunty Ros, where you’ll learn about her family’s deep connection to Country and story through the art of painting.As part of this creative journey, you will paint laser cut wooden leaves, inspired by the beauty of nature. These painted leaves will become part of the ongoing Reconciliation Community Artwork of 2025, a collaborative artwork symbolising unity and healing, to be showcased at Tiwu Kumangka Gallery.This session is suitable for ages 16+Purpose: To support Reconciliation and community building through collaborative art. Join us in creating an artwork that tells the story of our community and symbolises unity and healing. Your participation will not only enhance your art skills but also contribute to a significant and lasting piece of art.Together, let’s create an artwork that celebrates connection, culture, and hope for the future.
