An opportunity to have a chat about trout fishing in Tasmania, hear about the work being undertaken and have your questions answered.
The Inland Fisheries Service (IFS) previously hosted freshwater angling forums in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport in September 2025.
Due to the popularity of the forums we are now hosting a freshwater angling forum in Miena on 23 January 2026.
The forum is an opportunity to have a chat about trout fishing in Tasmania, hear about the work being undertaken by the IFS and have your questions answered.
Following each forum, attendees will have a chance to meet and chat with the IFS staff.
Representatives from Anglers Alliance Tasmania will also be in attendance.
Light refreshments and food will be provided.
