ABOUT THE MORNING RUN

Get fresh start for mind, body, and community every Sunday.
Join us every Sunday for a gentle paced 5km walk/run led by Mike & Sabi Sounds (Sabi Sounds Listening Cafe & Record Bar, Hawthorn)— flowing through Hawthorn’s leafy streets, Glenferrie Oval, and the Yarra River trail before looping back to Sabi.

Coffee, music, and movement… the perfect Sunday ritual to finish the week.

SCHEDULE

7:30AM — Meet at Sabi Sounds
• Check-in & meet your hosts
• A quick coffee shot to get things started ;)

7:45AM — Depart Sabi
• Walk to Glenferrie Oval
• Stretch & warm up

8:00AM — Run/Walk Begins
• Approx. 5km loop
• Route: Sabi → Yarra Bank Reserve → Yarra River Trail → Return to Sabi
• Casual, easy pace — jog, or run
• Perth to lead, Mike to follow back to support

8:30–8:45AM — Return to Sabi
• Cool down, chats, and post-run vibes. Fresh coffee, matcha & baked goods waiting!

PACE & EXPERIENCE

All levels welcome — beginners to seasoned runners.
• Easy casual pace
• Walk / jog / run
• Perth leads the run, Mike supports from the back
• No pressure, just community and fresh air

WHAT TO BRING

• Comfortable shoes
• Water bottle (optional)
• Weather-ready layers - (this is Melbourne, afterall)
