To remind you of all the beauty, strength and flexibility that already resides within you, on many levels.Join my workshops to explore, postures and themes in more detail and more depth. I like to teach classes for longer than an hour as it gives me the opportunity to offer more support and guidance individually in form of assists.

Handstand WorkshopNovember 7, 1-3pmPart 3 out of a 3- Part SeriesThis is my first Handstand workshop and I am uber excited to share it with you!Wether you have a sturdy handstand practice or not, you’re welcome to join if you feel a spark of interest!Although we will dive into lots of steps of how to approach a handstand, you will also learn and be reminded of that a fancy posture is not what makes you more or less good at yoga.It’s simply an exploration, a journey, and anyone is welcome to join in!More about P L A Y:Studies have shown how much can be learned when playing without a purpose, how much trust can not only be build with our fellow humans but also with ourselves.When we are playing we're in it, we're exploring and not worried about the outcome. Over generations most of us have more and more forgotten how to play, with no purpose, no destination; how to play more often for just the joy of it.With this in mind I have decided to call my workshop series P L A Y, as an invitation to experiment with different inversions, and possibly other shapes in the future; to cultivate the acceptance of trial and error, so there can be a decrease of judgement and expectation toward ourselves.‘Playing a game is the voluntary attempt to overcome unnecessary obstacles.’ ~ Bernard SuitsEspecially Headstands, Forearm Balance and also Handstands are very unnecessary, and when that is understood our approach can change.The intention of my P L A Y workshop is to set exploration and playfulness above outcome, as we are so much more likely to come back to a task at hand when we feel good about ourselves and experience joy.Included in the workshop:An Embodied FlowWorkshopping Handstand, individual assists will be offeredP L A Y timeCool down and a long SavasanaQ &amp; A'sMy mission is to share what I have learned over the past 10 years of practicing and teaching yoga, to simply share the tools that I have learned to come home to the present moment more often. I love teaching and guiding, but mostly I like reminding, reminding you that all is already within you.As much as I am fascinated by inversions, the way they can pull you into the here and now, the tranquility and stillness they can bring, the balance that is not just physical but can be felt beyond postures; I am more impressed by what we can learn along the way. How we can practice to hold space when uncomfortable and navigate through our fears… and how this can be directly translated into our life off the yoga mat.With a lot of love,Yara
