Strategies for promoting a safe and peaceful environment

The care sector has always experienced high rates of bullying. When a workplace culture is toxic stress and staff turnover rises. This results in a reduction in satisfaction and productivity. In turn this effects the quality of care for our clients. Research highlights that up to 40% of those working in the care sector claimed to have experienced workplace bullying.

Join Dr Mary Anne Hall as she provides guidance on how managers and care professionals can implement strategies to promote a healthy and nurturing workplace. 

This Webinar will discuss:

•	What constitutes bullying, with a discussion of some examples from the childcare; disability; and aged care sectors
•	Strategies for addressing unacceptable workplace behaviours
•	How staff shortages; unskilled supervisors and a lack of training can all combine to promote a toxic culture
•	How to foster an efficient, supportive and respectful work environment
This Webinar is suitable for Childcare Centre Directors, Teachers, Educators, NDIS providers, Aged Care Personnel, Disability Support Workers and any person who leads a team or works as part of a team. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance for their professional development portfolio. IMPORTANTOnly one certificate will be issued per registration. If multiple staff are attending, please register them individually using a different email address for each person. This Webinar is 12pm (AEST) Queensland time. Please adjust the time zone according to your State. Certificates of attendance will be issued within 3 working days of the Webinar.
