About this event

A note to organisations and service providers: although we'd love to connect with as many people as possible, spots for each session are limited. We kindly request that members registering on behalf of an organisation or service provider elect a single representative to attend.

The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) will guide Council in creating a more inclusive and accessible environment that supports people with disability to be involved in community life.

Council is updating its Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP). We are checking in with the community to make sure that the DIAP is still in line with the issues that are important to people with disability and their carers.

These session are small focus groups (up to twelve people per session) and we will ask you to provide feedback on different areas of the DIAP (employment, attitudes & behaviour, systems & processes, liveable communities).

Upon confirming your booking, you will be provided with five questions and we encourage you to think about your response in readiness for the consultation.

If you need any assistance completing or accessing your booking, please contact Jennie Dang, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, on (02) 9330 6261 or jdang@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.
