Learn how to finally ace essay writing for highschool in this Year 9-10 skills workshop!

<p><strong>In years 9 or 10 and struggle with essay writing? Just can’t seem to wrap your head around it but don’t want to be left behind by the rest of your class?</strong></p><p>In this workshop during the school holidays, one of our experienced English tutors is going to show you how to write the perfect essay!</p><p>We will help you:</p><ul><li>Craft a compelling<strong> thesis statement</strong></li><li><strong>Identify key ideas </strong>to explore in your essay</li><li>Write a <strong>clear, succinct introduction</strong></li><li>Construct relevant, <strong>insightful analysis</strong> of your text</li><li>Use a TEE table to<strong> construct your paragraph. </strong></li><li>Craft <strong>topic and linking sentences</strong></li><li>Round out your essay <strong>with a clear conclusion</strong></li></ul><h2>Why is it important to master this now?</h2><p>Essay writing is probably the most important skill to have throughout all of Highschool English. She graduated from Hornsby Girls' High School where she achieved an ATAR of 96.45 placing her in the top 3.55% of the state. Tricia was a finalist for the 2020 Class Teacher Award after being nominated by students who attended classes across 2020 for her inspirational teaching &amp; guidance. Tricia aspires to become a teacher, hoping to continue her studies with a Masters of Teaching. Tricia loves working with young people and helping shape the future of her community by supporting the upcoming generation. Tricia has already supported over 7+ students in their academic journey and is keen to teach more!</p>
