ATOM PL: Exam Revision Seminar for Teachers

ATOM is an independent, non-profit, professional association promoting the study of media. The membership of ATOM primarily includes teachers and lecturers from across subject disciplines at all levels of education. The membership also includes media-industry personnel, a range of media and education organisations and – increasingly – members of the general public interested in screen literacy and the media.

VCE Media Exam Revision Seminar for TeachersThe ATOM VCE Media Units 3 &amp; 4 Exam Revision seminar gives teachers the head start that they need to prepare their students for the VCE Media exam. Educators Rob Young and Nick Zomer, with years of experience in exam assessment and teaching VCE Media, will provide tips and resources to increase students' confidence and prepare them for the examination. The session will cover:<ul><li>General exam advice</li><li>Narrative and Ideology</li><li>Media production process</li><li>Agency and Control in and of the Media</li></ul>Please note: Due to COVID-related restrictions, this event is now moved online.
