Learn the basics of designing, cutting amd printing your own linocut design.

<p>Linocut is a printmaking technique, using a sheet of linoleum or other material, and cutting a relief design into the surface, with a sharp knife or small, shaped chiselling tools. The sheet is is then inked with a roller, called a brayer, and impressed onto paper, card or fabric, either by hand or with a printing press. </p><p>We use Ezy Carve Printing Blocks. They are . . .  well . . . really easy to carve!</p><p>Your facilitator will talk you through everything you need to know to design, cut and print your unique design.</p><h3>We will provide</h3><p>1 x  80 mm x 80 mm Ezy Carve Printing Block</p><p>100% of design, linocut and printing tools and materials for your use during the workshop</p><p>A variety of simple design ideas and templates for you to use - or get creative and create your own design</p><h3>Optional</h3><p>Pre-order your own Essdee Lino Cut Taster Kit to take home, as an add-on when you purchase your ticket</p><p>Additional Ezy Carve Printing Blocks, in a variety of sizes will be available, from $5, for purchase on the night</p><p>Cash or EFTPOS payments available</p><h3>What to bring</h3><p>We invite you to bring something to sip - alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages of choice -  to enjoy during the class, while the fun happens</p><p>Bring anything to eat that takes your fancy – cheese, dips, baked goods</p><p>Chocolate fountains are always fun! </p><h3>What to wear</h3><p>We are going for comfort here! Anything white, made of silk, of sentimental value, or extremely expensive is not the best option at our studio. </p><p>Ink splatter happens. Once ink is on your clothes, it really likes to stay there!</p><h3>It&#x27;s nice to show up 30 minutes early</h3><p>Most makers show up early, to get their food and drinks set up and enjoy a bit of down time with friends and new acquaintances before the workshop officially begins. </p><p>We will start right on time!</p>
