JDocs: Emergency Procedures

The University of Western Australia's Clinical Training and Evaluation Centre (CTEC) is an Australasian hub of medical simulation knowledge and know-how, with a highly practical approach to medical and surgical skills training.CTEC brings together an interactive hospital environment with expert clinical educators to offer training to medical professionals from junior doctors to senior consultants in a way that supplements  traditional clinical-based training. Workshops use a range of mechanical, computerised and inanimate tissues to replicate surgical procedures and scenarios, providing an authentic setting for medical professionals to learn clinical and behavioural skills.

This workshop aims to provide hands-on  experience in a range of procedures, skills and behaviours for medical and surgical emergencies.

SUITABLE FOR: Junior Doctors - Interns, Resident Medical Officers and Unaccredited Registrars. This workshop is highly relevant for those interested in applying for anaesthetics, ED, ICU and surgical specialties.CONVENOR: TBC

CTEC reserves the right to cancel the registration of any medical professional whose level of qualification and/or area of specialty does not match the criteria specified in the relevant CTEC workshop, course or symposia description. An administration fee of 15% of the course or event fee will apply.
