ABOUT THE WORKSHOPThis workshop is open to all mothers - grandmothers, young mothers, first-time mothers, adoptive/foster mothers and mothers from culturally diverse/Indigenous backgrounds.Madalyn will take you on an inner journey to explore the ways you see yourself from this perspective, focusing on your conditioned practices, your belief systems, fears, aspirations and any other inner dialogue which resonates with you.The aim of the workshop is to create a safe and nurturing space, where you will engage with your instinctual, primal and conditioned nature to address, question and/or explore your how and why. This will be achieved through the introduction to a range of visual art techniques and processes, where your own language will be explored through simplified and/or abstracted methods.You will be fully guided and supported during this workshop so please come with an open-mind.ABOUT THE FACILITATORMadalyn is the founder of <a href="https://www.instagram.com/earthly_ink/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">EarthlyInk</a>, a visual stoytelling business which has delivered and managed a range of diverse arts and culture initiatives. With over 20 years experience in the Creative Industries, Madalyn has secured contracts and roles with government and non-government organisations developing place-based, site-specific and community based initiatives which advocate, enhance and celebrate the diverse fabrics which reside in our communities.Additionally, Madalyn&#x27;s own professional arts practice explores the notion of identity and culture from a female and intergenerational migrant perspective.
