Glebe is a great place to walk, with heritage streetscapes, significant historical buildings, the foreshore walk, parklands and a rich social and industrial history. This walk, through the Toxteth Estate, will be led by Max Solling, well-known local historian, with a reputation for revealing little known stories of our neighbourhood.The walk will begin with a talk by Max, and then will continue, covering The Toxteth Estate, Jubilee Park and Orphan School Creek.A detailed handout will be given to all attendees.
