Queensland Academy for Creative Industries

The Queensland Academies Creative Industries Campus (QACI) opened its purpose-built facilities in 2007. Located in the Kelvin Grove Urban Village precinct, QACI is a selective entry independent state high school attracting a diverse range of students with shared attributes and interests. QACI learners seek a rich and integrated academic curriculum and collaborative learning experiences. Our students study towards an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma - an internationally recognised pre-university level qualification, enabling learners to work toward achievements based on merit in a non-competitive environment.Through the integrated IB Diploma curriculum, students flourish in a culture that fosters creative and critical thinking, innovation and enterprise. Students develop university research skills and gain opportunities for real life industry experience and involvement across all industry sectors.PLEASE NOTE: Due to social distancing guidelines, we will not be offering formal guided tours at this year&#x27;s 2021 Open Day on Saturday 29 May. In order to meet the demand for campus tours, we have scheduled a large number of tour sessions to take place in the weeks preceding Open Day, allowing us to offer smaller group tours on a range of different days and times. Families wishing to attend a guided campus tour are encouraged to book as soon as possible to secure their places. This will also allow us to add new dates and times as tours become fully booked. We are located at 61 Musk Avenue, Kelvin Grove. Our tours will depart from Level 4 Client Services. Please arrive at least ten minutes prior to the commencement of your tour to sign in.Tours will be restricted to 20 people. We encourage tour participants to socially distance throughout the tour. While parking is not available on site, ample street parking is located in the surrounding Kelvin Grove Urban Village precinct.
