The Illawarra-Shoalhaven Compassionate Community organising this event, is an initiative of the Groundswell Project and is funded by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. You are warmly invited to join in our third Death Café in Kiama on 28 April 21. Our thanks go to the Uniting Church in Kiama for providing the venue for this function. Compassionate Communities encourage everyday people to play a stronger role in the care and support of others in their community. We aim to socialise the conversation around death, dying and end of life. What to expect at a Death Café?•	No agenda, just bring yourselves and we will let the informal conversations unfold •	A Death Cafe is a welcoming, safe space where you can enjoy open, light and relaxed conversation on death, dying and end of life. •	You can share a story if you wish, or just listen and observe – no pressure •	Be prepared for coffee, tea, cake and good conversationWhat better time to come together and talk about our thoughts and feelings around death and dying. Talking about death won’t kill us!We are not able to provide grief support or counselling and this may not be an ideal group for those suffering a more recent bereavement.For further information contact Carolyn Vaughan via email: carolyn@thegroundswellproject.com or call 0418 480 690.
