About this event

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO A BOOKING CLASH, THE START TIME OF THIS SCREENING HAS BEEN DELAYED TO 7:30 PM, INSTEAD OF 5 PM AS ORIGINALLY ADVERTISED. WE APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!

Sam (Colin Firth) and Tusker (Stanley Tucci) have been together for 20 years; the former a British concert pianist, the latter an American novelist. Tusker’s latest novel isn’t going so well but unfortunately writer’s block would be the least of his problems; he has been diagnosed with early-onset dementia.

Realising that their time together is the most important thing they have, the two men decide to take a road trip through England in an old campervan to reconnect with friends and family, and visit the places of their past. As the journey progresses, their individual ideas for their future begin to collide. Secrets are uncovered, private plans unravel and their love for each other is tested like never before.

This intimate, moving story about love and mortality is a tremendous showcase for the formidable acting talents of both Firth and Tucci, who have been friends in real life for as long as their fictional counterparts have been together on-screen – and it shows.
