But when her mother is murdered, Pixie sets out on a mission to avenge her death, spotting an opportunity to settle the score when she meets two hapless teenagers who have stumbled upon a bag full of drugs. Soon, the trio find themselves on the run across the wild Irish countryside with a criminal gang of gun-toting priests and nuns hot on their tail.Like the Irish lovechild of Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie, this brilliant and slick gangster comedy is propelled by a mesmerising performance from Olivia Cooke (who can also be seen in this season’s Sound of Metal).
