Arrive 9.00am for a 9.30am start.Register as a land manager to go into the draw for a free soil test.This FREE conference is for all land managers, agriculture industry groups and soil health service providers in north east Victoria, providing the latest information about monitoring and managing soil acidification, including:<ul><ul><li>The importance of soil pH in north east Victoria</li><li>Soil sampling and testing</li><li>Current research and extension in cropping and pasture systems</li><li>Soil amendments to manage pH in cropping and pasture systems</li><li>Soil erosion issues and management in the region.</li></ul></ul>It is estimated nearly half of the 4-5 million ha of land in Victoria affected by strongly acidic topsoil are found in north east Victoria. The region has half of a further 2-3 million ha of moderately acid topsoil. This is an opportunity to hear outstanding speakers and to network with key industry personnel and north east Victorian landholders.
